Morning Star Rising


A good chunk of progress yesterday. I might actually be able to come in under 162k, which would be nice (in fact, now that I check what I have left, I should be able to since I only have about 10k left to rewrite). I'm doing considerably more from-scratch writing in this last section than I'd previously anticipated, but I think it's working out well. Hopefully I'll be able to wrap this up this week then have time to go back and fix my setting details earlier in the story. I also have to write up a sample query letter (which I'm dreading) and do a final read through for typos and any last minute changes, then next week it will be off to the crit group.
