Morning Star Rising


Not much to say about it. Just making progress.

While I was getting the pot roast ready for the crock pot this morning, my son was watching Pokemon and I overheard something rather choice. One of the male characters was talking to one of the female character, about how they should declare their love for all the world to know about and she turns from him and says, "Hey, look! A beaver!" Those dirty, dirty Pokemon people. >:)

I passed the 20k mark today on cutting and I'm not anticipating any more big cuts to be made. 150k definitely doesn't look possible, so I've adjusted my target word count up (based on being able to cut only about 5k more). It was a pretty decent day of writing. I finished the 4th section and started on the 5th (and last), and it's looking like I'll actually have time to go back and fix my setting details before I have to turn this in for critique. I also finally gave up on Zokutou and switch word counters. Their form hasn't worked for over a month now and I was manually changing old code to make my new counters, but I don't have the knowledge to change the progress bar, so to heck with it. This is much easier and doesn't require me to manually calculate the percentage.
