Good day. I finished up my story for the SSC at LH and it came in significantly shorter than most of my short stories do. I also sent a story off to a new market (Vortex Temporum) after withdrawing it from another market that was taking too long, and it doesn't look like they will be answering subs anytime soon thanks to a computer crash. Hope they work things out because it sounds like a cool market and I was actually pretty excited about them. I'm very excited about Vortex Temporum though; it's right up my alley, and depending on the quality of the stories they publish, I might be tempted to get a subscription (unless it's free, of course. It is an online mag.)
